Simplify Customer Payments from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Payments Integration for Business Central connects Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with Stripe to simplify customer payment collection directly from Sales Orders.
Generate and send secure Stripe payment links from Business Central, allow customers to complete payments through Stripe, track payment status from the Sales Order, and optionally automate payment journal posting.
By connecting the sales and payment workflow, the solution helps reduce manual payment follow-ups, improve payment visibility, and simplify reconciliation for finance teams.
Create payment links. Track payments. Simplify reconciliation.
Payments Integration for Business Central is a payment integration solution that connects Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with Stripe.
It enables users to generate a Stripe payment link directly from a Business Central Sales Order and send the link to the customer’s email address. Once the customer completes the payment through Stripe, the payment status can be checked and updated in Business Central.
The solution can also be configured to automatically post the corresponding payment journal using a designated Stripe Clearing Account.
Traditional payment collection processes can require sales or finance teams to repeatedly send payment instructions, check whether customers have paid, and manually update accounting records.
When payment collection is separated from the Sales Order workflow, finance and sales teams may spend unnecessary time tracking payment activity.
Generate a Stripe payment link directly from the Sales Order using the Send Payment Link action.
Send the generated payment link to the customer's email address directly from the Sales Order workflow.
The customer receives an email containing the payment link and can use it to access the Stripe payment interface.
Customers are redirected to the Stripe payment interface when they open the payment link, where they can enter their payment details and complete the transaction.
Track payment-related information directly from the Business Central Sales Order.
Users can manually trigger Check Payment Status to retrieve the current payment status.
Use the Business Central Job Queue to periodically check payment status and update the associated Sales Order automatically.
Configure the integration to automatically post the payment journal when the payment is successfully processed.
When Journal Posting is enabled, the Stripe Clearing Account can be mapped in the setup.

Stripe payment-related fields on the Sales Order are updated after the payment link is sent, providing a place to track payment information.
When payment journal posting is enabled and the payment is posted, the resulting customer ledger entry can be reviewed within Business Central.

Give customers a direct payment path from the Sales Order through a Stripe payment link.

Simplify the process of sending payment requests and checking payment status.

Keep Stripe payment-related information associated with the Business Central Sales Order.

Optional automatic payment journal posting reduces the need for repetitive manual journal entry.

Create a more connected workflow between Sales Orders, customer payments, and financial processing.

Automate payment status updates through the Business Central Job Queue.

Use a designated Stripe Clearing Account when automatic payment journal posting is enabled.
Connect Sales and Finance in One Workflow
Payments Integration for Business Central is designed around the Business Central Sales Order and financial processes.
Instead of managing payment requests separately from your ERP, teams can generate payment links, track payment information, update payment status, and manage payment journal posting as part of the Business Central workflow.
This creates a clearer connection between customer orders and payment processing.
